This 1 1/4" Victorian Sterling Flower Basket Brooch is a perfect example of the prim genitile look of the ear. These were sometimes referred to as Giardinetti. Lovely gilt overlay on the front with just enough wear to give it that wonderful antique look and feel. Tiny sapphire, ruby, and emerald paste stones inset in the basket and flowers. There are 4 emeralds missing and one sapphire. C clasp. In excellent condition with the exception of the missing stones and gilt wear. Oh what a lady!
