If you live in a small town or city whats already on its way out in LA may just becoming fashionable in your area. Fashion also seems to show differences in whats in and whats not from the east to west of the country.
Popularity can extend the life of a fashion trend. Items such as capri pants, tank tops, and flip flops, have had an exceptionally long run because of their popularity.
The higher the profile, for example fashion run way styles, the shorter the life expectancy of the fashion. High profile fashions date themselves very quickly. The more radical the print or design, the quicker it will become out of style.

The best way to protect oneself from going broke while attempting to stay in style is to make certain your wardrobe has the basics that can be continuously utilized by updating smaller less expensive items such as a top. Blue jeans, black pants, black dresses, teeshirts, and blazers will never go out of style. You can quickly bring them up to the current fashion trend with just a little creativity.
