How To Buy A Ring That Fits
When you are buying on line it is important to know the right ring size. The best is to visit your local jeweler and he'll be able to tell you. A quick at home method that can be used is:
- Step 1- choose the finger your going to measure. Look for the widest part of the finger, usually found by the knuckle.
- Step 2 - Find a strip of paper about 1/4" - 1/8" wide long enough to wrap around your finger 1 and 1/2 times
- Wrap the strip of paper around your finger and mark where it completes the circle
- Now measure and use the chart below for an approx ring size guide
- Remember wide rings will need to be slightly larger because they cover more of your finger
- Measure your finger at the end of the day when it is most likely the largest, never measure your finger when it is cold or it may not fit in the summer.
